Invest in a pair of earplugs, maybe?

Re “Rein in race cars” letter by Carol Musson.

I share in your lament concerning the noise made by these loud race cars. We lived three miles from the race track in Charlotte, North Carolina. It sounded like a giant bumble bee. Your poor ears must be buzzing.

Of course ,you knew there was a race track and races going on in the race track before you purchased your house? The race track has probably been there five decades. I've always looked for railroad tracks and runways before I move to a new place.

I'm sure sleep deprivation doesn't occur in one weekend. There are always hotels that will give your pitiful ears a rest.

Outdoor living is meant to calm one’s nerves, not the opposite. Yours should not be disturbed by some ole silly and noisy race cars.

Oh by the way, how much cheese do you want to go with that whine?
