Coastal Carolina success starts with its leaders

Our family supports and participates in athletic and other functions at Coastal Carolina University. With the men's basketball team earning a spot in back-to-back NCAA competition we were very excited.

We are, even though number one seed Wisconsin eliminated our CCU team, so proud of how the team and Coach Cliff Ellis conducted themselves. Even Wisconsin fans were commenting on social media that the CCU team exhibited determination and grace in the game. They were called a class act. We commend all members of the team and Coach Ellis for their display of true sportsmanship.

Of course, good leadership begins at the top and Dave DeCenzo, as president of the university, has led by example. His vision for the university is one we can all support. I trust more people will become interested in this great institution and support the many events and program it offers to the community.
