Let leaders know you disagree with their war mongering

March 19 marked the 12th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq. This horrible policy decision to invade a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 left thousands of young U.S. soldiers dead, too many wounded in body and mind, possibly 1 million dead Iraq citizens, huge destruction of Iraqi homes, businesses, and infrastructure that the U.S. shamefully has not rebuilt, and the conditions and hatred that led to the rise of ISIS.

One would think that our so-called “leaders” in Congress (both Republican and Democratic ) including Sen. Lindsey Graham would have learned their lesson. But they have not. Now they are squandering our tax dollars in trying to undermine Obama’s diplomacy with Iran with the possible outcome of a war with Iran that could lead to a nuclear war.

Now people in Congress and N.A.T.O (and possibly Obama) are also threatening Russia through Ukraine by quite possibly causing the illegal coup in Ukraine that could have started the whole foolish war, which has claimed 6,000 lives so far, and by possibly sending weapons of death that are threatening Russia. This all could lead to a nuclear war with Russia.

The U.S. is also threatening the sovereign country of Venezuela with threatening rhetoric that I believe is foolish and childish. I believe people in Congress (both Republican and Democratic) and Obama are behaving like out-of-control intoxicated people with a lust for more and more money and power and control, and the willingness to work for the 24/7 weapons manufacturer assembly lines and the 1 percent, who I believe want to get their greedy hands on the oil in Iran and Venezuela and the gas in Russia.

We do not need to accept this unacceptable behavior that is putting us in danger. Please take 5 minutes during the day and call 202-224-3121, ask for the offices of Lindsey Graham, Tim Scott, and Tom Rice of South Carolina, and give your opinion. Please also call 202-456-1111 to leave your opinion for Obama.
