Heroic to stand up to bigotry

My father risked his life to fight the Nazis in World War II. Many American men gave their lives to stop the Nazi machine. In President Donald Trump’s view, they were there without a permit, and violence was brought by both sides.

Trump seemed to have trouble putting a label on the counter demonstrators of Charlottesville, calling them “alt left,” etc.

Since the 1930s, the proper term for those who stand up to Nazis is “heroes.”
