Nazis? Come on, Nazis?!
There is validity to, "Where does it stop?"
The national natural monuments are under attack as well, made not by man for man, but created by whatever omnipotent universal entity you care to ascribe to.
They are in more jeopardy now than they have ever been. If they are gone, they are gone forever.
We have been building monuments to man. Man. We have primordial emotions, Medieval religions and god-like technology. We are not far flung, evolutionary speaking, from chimps with guns.
But you still gotta hate Nazis.
