Golf carts are too slow to be safe on the road

Golf carts have been a beach novelty for years. But times change and cities grow.

Unfortunately, my car does the speed limit of every road I travel, and I believe these roads should be safe for all. Golf carts are becoming a hazard to those who drive them, and to those who have to pass them to get around town.

Most tourists haven't a clue as what roads to use. They end up blocking traffic on main streets and it seems the police departments don't enforce the laws.

At the very least, all motorized vehicles on public roadways should be able to carry speeds as posted. If not, they should be removed altogether. Let's not wait until the death of a child to address this issue. Let’s practice prevention!
