So much Christianity in Myrtle Beach area, still so much hate

I have noticed something interesting. With all the Christianity in this area, I can't help wondering where the hatred for black people, the LGBT community and people of different religions comes from, as they voted for a man who has violated eight of the 10 Biblical commandments.

I thought the word of the Lord was to love one’s neighbor as thyself. To continue to applaud the man who symbolizes everything that the Bible teaches us not to be, I'm confused.

Politics aside. Would you want a bigoted, sexist, narcissist as the head of your family? Let's be honest. It is very hypocritical to go to church every Sunday and come home and hate. Just saying.
