Trumpcare reform bill should not pass

This letter is not just to my senators and representatives in Washington, D.C., but to everyone. It's about the special interest health care bill.

Do you know how many people in your district will be affected? If you don’t, please find out. I want each of you to put yourselves in the shoes of your constituents, some friends and family members. How do you think they will fair if this bill passes? I realize there are some changes that need to be made, but not like what that bill will do.

Think about what could happen to some of the people you know and people in your district. They could become very sick but not be able to afford medical help. Is that what you would want on your conscience?

Think about the people who put you in office. They put you there to protect them and to do what is best for them.

So I appeal to you, please think about all those people and don't let this bill pass.

Jacqueline L. Blakey, Conway
