CCU becoming a public nuisance; time to shut it down
Re “Study: Coastal Carolina reports the highest rate of liquor law violations in the country” article by The Sun News.
I am writing regarding the disgusting, immoral, and illegal behavior at Coastal Carolina University. If the hellions were not in school, many would be in prison for their criminal acts. Thanks to today’s news, we are able to clearly see just how many crimes of drugs and alcohol - the ones that are reported - and accusations of cheating, prostitution, dating escorts, etc, at this South Carolina taxpayer-supported institution that some still call a school.
If you will have the fortitude to do so, please advise, or possibly your readers will advise, just how to present an online petition to have CCU declared a public nuisance and an unnecessary burden to the fine, law-abiding and taxpaying citizens that Conway and South Carolina residents are paying for.
I honorably submit to you and your readers that this “institution” must be reigned in, and closed - permanently closed.
Look at the other schools in this state that do not have near this many criminal acts.
Mike Knight, Conway
