Too much Tebow, not enough golf
Outside of the four major professional golf championships, several tournaments are held in high regard. Among them: the Tour Championship, Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Invitational, and Jack Nicklaus’ Memorial Tournament.
The Memorial was held recently, and for some strange reason, The Sun News decided not to publish an article detailing the results of the tournament on either the following Monday or Tuesday. There was another article about Tim Tebow (why, I don’t know), golf results from the LPGA tour, the European Tour, and the Symetra Tour. But nothing about the PGA's Memorial Tournament.
With all the retired golfers in this area, doesn’t The Sun News think it is a priority to provide coverage for such a significant tournament? Apparently not! It is no wonder that the paper is getting smaller and readership is declining.
Thank goodness Alan Blondin still writes for The Sun News.
