Why can’t you finish the darn roads?
I have visited your great city of Myrtle Beach many times and was in town a couple of weeks ago. I am very upset with the progress - or lack of - on the three major road projects in Horry County: S.C. 31 extension, Glenns Bay Road and the widening of S.C. 707.
What is going on?
Someone should be held accountable for these projects not meeting the projected deadlines.
We'll hear about the weather, more buried utilities than thought, etc.
Will the contractors be assessed the penalty fee? The public should not have to pay for additional costs.
