Myrtle Beach Chief Gall gets well-deserved rest

Warren Gall recently retired as Myrtle Beach police chief. As a retired law enforcement commander, I know the value of having the right kind of person serving in a leadership role within a police department

Responsible, honest, trustworthy and supportive are just a few of the characteristics needed for the person serving as chief. Gall possesses all of these qualities and more.

He is well respected within the law enforcement community, especially among the members of his own department. He has dedicated the past 37 years of his life to this community and, for that, we should be extremely grateful. I know I am.

Myrtle Beach will be hard pressed to find someone to fill the chief's shoes. Enjoy your retirement my friend. You totally deserve it.

Jerry Ratajczak, Myrtle Beach
