Voice-less educators can’t vote for raise

To quote District 4 School Board Member David Cox, “I’d say that it may be time for us to consider giving ourselves somewhat of a pay raise.”

It is quite tragic that board members must “work” 15-plus hours a week for little compensation. Providing oneself a pay raise is a luxury that others do not have. Oh, if only the hard-working teachers who work 60-plus hours a week had the same luxury! Unfortunately, the Voice-Less Educator does not.
