No to gas tax, yes to gambling in South Carolina
The question of casino gambling in South Carolina should be put to a vote by the people and not left up to the politicians.
The jobs and revenue that would be created would far surpass the needs of our crumbling infrastructure. Gambling provides entertainment for many people. Raising the gas tax provides unnecessary hardship on middle-class and low-income people.
I repeat, let the people decide. Put casino gambling on the ballot.
