Let’s appreciate the great job local officials do for us all
As 2016 closes, I want to thank some local public officials and employees who have helped us all.
Horry County did a sensational job picking up and receiving tons of debris after the hurricane. They did it quickly and even made individual house calls.
North Myrtle Beach, thanks for the wonderful Aquatic and Fitness Center, which prolongs lives. It is well run and organized. Also, to North Myrtle Beach, thanks for always coming up with new things for locals and visitors, such as the sports complex and about 40 free concerts and movies.
The city of Myrtle Beach has done a great job keeping the beaches groomed and the boardwalk is fun, well lit and a great amenity to enjoy. Myrtle beach leaders, your vision with The Market Common has turned into a splendid shopping, walking and park experience for all. And a special thanks Myrtle Beach for never forgetting our veterans with your Memorial Day celebration.
Thank you area police, fire and first-responders for keeping me safe. Happy holidays to you all.
