Trump is the opposite of what voters say they want, hold dear

I am still trying to figure it out.

We were afraid we were losing our position of global leadership. So we elected a man who scares the Dickens out of our allies?

We were upset about jobs going abroad. So we elected a man who has portions of his apparel line produced in Asia?

We were upset by partisan gridlock in Washington. So we elected a man who has alienated the leadership of both parties?

We were mad at the influence of the 1 percent. So we elected a man whose cabinet is already the richest ever before it is completed?

We were upset by the tax burden on the middle-class. So we elected a billionaire who may not pay any?

We were convinced that our conservative, Christian values were being ignored. So we elected a man who has been married three times, conceived a child out of wedlock and feels entitled to grab women by the crotch because he is famous?

Is this the greatest counter-intuitive move ever? Or an indictment of how gullible and uninformed the average voter is? We will find out soon.
