We sacrificed on battlefield so you could protest
Watching those young folks protest the election results got me just as angry as when I saw some of my buddies get killed when I was in the armed services. With pride, we went in harm’s way to keep America free and to allow protests and free elections.
In other countries, burning the flag would result in being shot. Not here, though, because others paid the price so you could burn our flag. I wonder how burning cop cars, destroying other people’s property, starting fires, or blocking traffic on major highways is going to change the election?
I also wonder if any of these fine “upstanding” Americans will have the guts, the pride, or the heartfelt inclination to put themselves in harm’s way to preserve a free and strong America?
