Governmental mistakes undermine our security

An article in a recent edition of The Sun News under national briefs said the government had “mistakenly” granted citizenship to 858 immigrants from countries with concerns to national security, some with pending deportation orders. This is according to an internal audit at the Department of Homeland Security.

Gee, aren’t these the same people vetting the refugees, to ensure no terrorists mingle with them and enter the country?

Besides the errors being made on the background checks of people applying for firearms purchases (Dylann Roof of the Charleston 9 shooting being the prime example, due to the wrong code being typed in), maybe the agencies involved need to perform their jobs a bit more diligently?

How about trying to actually check the information to attempt catching any errors?

As these new citizens were granted their status, through less than thorough means, are they subject to having this revoked? Or, is this the new and improved policy being practiced?
