Rice is the right choice for the Seventh district

Having known Rep. Tom Rice and following him closely throughout his terms in the U.S. Congress, I want to address some false reports I've recently heard.

Rice says that no one loves the environment as much as him, and I believe that. He’s lived in South Carolina his whole life and his roots are here. He grew up hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. He is a supporter of the Second Amendment and is opposed to the government taking away any constitutional rights.

He isn’t in favor of offshore drilling but is in favor of seismic testing so we can at least know what’s out there. We can’t make any rational decisions until we know all the information.　

He is against obstructionists who exploit our legal system to delay job-creating infrastructure projects under the guise of protecting the environment. He understands the need to care for the environment but realizes we need a balance in order to improve infrastructure.

Rice is the level-headed, objective choice in this election and deserves another term representing us.
