Trump full of lies and empty promises

Like many local Republicans, I was caught up in the early Donald Trump-hype. He appeared to be a strong, successful businessman who would cut government excesses and negotiate better trade deals.

Despite no public support from any of our local Republicans, he carried Horry County with nearly half the vote during the primary against the other 16 wannabees. It soon became clear that he was a one-man show with minimal support from elected Republicans. This concerns me.

There were few specifics to his plans, just unrealistic “sound good” generalities like building a wall and making Mexico pay for it.

He exaggerated his claims, and then he began to tell outright lies, like he knows more than the generals.

Is there a thinking voter alive who doesn't believe that Trump did in fact sexually harass women over the past 20 years? Yet he denies it. He is in denial about all the negatives in his life. The list is long. Just think about it.

Before you jump over the cliff for Trump, you might want to ask why most of the major newspapers and educated Americans are not supporting him. And don't forget all the people who did work for him, whom he stiffed.
