Trumpism beats Hilloryism any day

Re “Trump is unqualified - and that won’t change” letter by Edward Kerr.

First of all, I'm glad The Sun News elected to publish my letter. And, Mr. Kerr, I'm happy to see that at least someone read it.

I take exception to your opinion. I do not profess to be a conspiracy theorist as you imply. I merely stated that I found it very interesting that a number of people who were involved with the Clintons over the years, then went against and ended up in a bad place. It's an opinion, and my feeling is it is quite the coincidence. So call me a conspiracy theorist if you may. I've been called worse.

I will tell you that in the positions I have held over my lifetime, I have been exposed to matters I wish I never became involved with. Behind every major event in this world, there is some major conspiracy.

Now, regarding my thoughts that Trump is trainable. Anyone going into any “big league” position, whether in corporate America or politics, needs some training by those who have been involved in certain areas, whatever they may be. In my lifetime, I have held positions that management felt I could handle, but there were still certain aspects of a position that I needed help with. This goes for anyone who moves up the corporate ladder.

I am truly confident that Mr. Trump will surround himself with people who he can trust and have a high level of expertise and provide the guidance he will need to make intelligent decisions, should he become president.

I am terrified of Mrs. Clinton. I think she has spent enough time being Mrs. President already, since most of the decisions coming out of the Oval Office when Bill Clinton was president seemed to reek of “Hilloryism.” I find it fascinating how someone from a little state of two million people managed to become president. I give him a lot of credit for doing so.

Why didn’t the Clintons move back to Arkansas instead of taking up residence in New York? Why did some of the smartest people in one of the most-populous states elect a so-called outsider to the U.S. Senate? Obviously, there was a plan and they and everyone else in this country were fooled.. Trump is right; we need to get rid of the Clintons once and for all, that 26 to 30 years of them is enough.

We need new blood in the White House, and we need new fresh ideas in our government.

There are numerous conspiracies about Mrs. Clinton, and there have been numerous affairs in her family and in the Trump family. So what? How many people in this world have had affairs at one time or another? How many conspiracies have been uncovered? I'm not going to vote for my candidate of choice because he or she had a few affairs; I am going to vote for the person who I feel can “Make America Great Again.”

The writer lives in Murrells Inlet.
