Praying for those caught in Matthew’s path

Hurricane Matthew ripped through Haiti and then the Southeastern states. Hundreds of thousands of people were evacuated due to the devastating flooding in North Carolina. People all across the South have much damage and lose.

Pray now for churches to arise and recovery efforts to move forward. Bind the spirit of further destruction and pray blessing, protection, peace and healing for all who have been affected. Put up a shield of protection over all that are offering assistance to those that have lost lives, lost homes and worldly possessions. Pray for our law enforcement, first-responders, the faith-base community and all the volunteers.

We also pray for Haiti and other areas devastated by this hurricane. Pray for the families grieving for the loss of their loved ones. Pray for all those whose homes and villages have been destroyed.

We pray GOD will preserve the lives of all those affected by the flooding and that they will not question why but rather they will thank God for surviving. We pray for wisdom, speed and efficiency in the relief efforts in the affected areas.

Rev. Donna Phelps, Brunswick County, North Carolina
