The Market Common is a good model for a new downtown Myrtle Beach

In response to the article on the empty 12-acre lot where the Pavilion used to be.

Why not turn it into a downtown area like The Market Common?

I know it would cost a lot of money, but think how bringing in upscale shops and restaurants would revitalize this area and hopefully drive out the crime.

Myrtle Beach needs a nice downtown.
