Butts on the beach are disgusting

Attention smokers:

Those cigarette butts do not evaporate! They are polluting and poisonous.

Those of us who try to clean up trash from the beach are sick of picking them up. If you ever toss all or part of a cigarette on the beach or public ground, please be more considerate of other adults, children and birds (who sometimes mistake for food).

Please dispose of the whole thing in a trash receptacle.
