Carson, the candidate with an even keel
We now have a president who was a community organizer with a secular world view. Ben Carson is a brain surgeon with a Biblical world view. Dr. Carson has been inspired to run for president to protect our way of life as we have known it. He wants to take our country back to the freedoms that we have enjoyed and the standard of living of the middle class greater than any other nation has ever experienced.
He is concerned about the debt, national security, reducing government size and waste, and restoring power to the people. It is no secret why the shock and awe bombing of the Middle East was called surgical. As a surgeon he had to be calm, precise, and work with a team of professionals that had to pool their knowledge and experience to manage the life and death situations that they faced every day. This sounds like good experience to me.
I continue to hear “Yes, but he is not electable.” If we put the political machinery around him that most of the other candidates have, he should be a shoo-in to win. And, as all of the other candidates continue to degrade each other, this creates an opening for someone with a more mature and common-sense approach, like Dr. Carson, to make his position known and appreciated.
If you like what Obama has done, considering his world view, just think what Carson would do. If you don’t like what Obama has done, maybe it’s time to go back to someone with a Biblical world view as our founding fathers had intended.
