Vote Tuesday

Important elections take place Tuesday in six area cities as well as a special Republican primary election for County Council District 3. If you live in these towns or this district, make your voice heard. As usual, polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

These are the towns that are having elections: Andrews, Atlantic Beach, Briarcliffe Acres, Conway, Georgetown and Myrtle Beach. In North Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island, no seats were contested so there will be no polling.

Elsewhere in today’s paper are details on candidates and the races in Conway, Myrtle Beach and County Council District 3. Information on Atlantic Beach and Georgetown races was scheduled to run Saturday. If you missed it in the paper, check it out online.
