The Knights of Columbus Council 7531 of the Catholic Church of St. James in Conway, would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our Tootsie Roll drive that was held Sept. 12 at the Walmart on Myrtle Ridge Road.

All proceeds benefit the Columbus Hope Foundation, with all monies remaining in South Carolina and 85 percent staying our local area.

The foundation supports handicapped, mentally challenged, special Olympics and several high school special needs students.

We would also like to thank Walmart for their continued support. Thanks to everyone’s generosity we will be able to continue helping those who need it most.

Alan Zimmerman, Deputy Grand Knight Council 7531
