Myrtle Beach area condo owners should address accessibility issues in rentals

We have been coming to Myrtle Beach twice a year for 25 years. My daughter has a disability and she loves spending time in beautiful Myrtle Beach.

Unfortunately, she is spending another day watching everyone else enjoy the pool at the condo that we are renting. We have stayed at dozens of condo buildings over the years and the inaccessible pools are a problem. There are also very few hotels and resorts that have pool lifts.

My daughter is much more comfortable staying in a condo then she is in a hotel. The unit owners and management companies charge a lot of money to rent out their units. It is 2015 and I have to ask why aren't the needs of your guests with mobility issues not addressed?

Why should my daughter have to sit back and not be allowed to have fun in the pool like the rest of her family does?

A pool lift is an amenity that owners could benefit from.
