Call me sweetie any time, honey
In response to the July 21 letter, “Restaurant servers, listen up: Call me “sweetie” or “honey,” no tip,” by Jay Rhine.
As a fellow senior, I would like to suggest that Mr. Rhine lighten up on all those “restaurant servers” who are merely trying to be friendly.
I'm sure that if the truth were known, far more servers are being offended by miserable seniors, calling them “sweetie, honey or baby.”
I personally think it is refreshing to be serviced by a friendly, courteous individual.
