Letter | Can’t we all get along?
I am writing in response to Michael Doyle's March 5 article, involving the Supreme Court being split on Obamacare.
I think it is a disgrace that even our Supreme Court, the highest court in the land has fallen prey to the liberal-conservative malady that has so dramatically affected not only our government but also our national common sense.
It's bad enough that our Congress and the Administration have not the ability to think independently or consider what is in the best interest of the country, but rather march in step to party lines. Whatever happened to bi-partisan decision making?
Will we ever, as a country, return to thinking of ourselves as Americans, not Democrats or Republicans, not liberals or conservatives, not whites or blacks?
I am afraid not.
