Progress report on Remnants of Oscar: Tuesday, Oct 22 update from the NHC

The National Hurricane Center released the last advisory for the remnant system at 2 pm Tuesday, with sustained winds of 35 mph, Oscar has downgraded from a tropical storm to a remnant. Remnants of Oscar are 75 miles east-southeast of Long Island, with maximum sustained wind of 35 mph. It’s moving at 12 mph to the northeast.
YESTERDAY (Monday):
Yesterday, Oscar departed Cuba and moved toward the Atlantic Ocean.
CHANGES WITH THIS ADVISORY:
The government of the Bahamas has discontinued the Tropical Storm Warning for the Southeastern Bahamas.
