UPDATE: Severe thunderstorm warning previously issued for Lowcountry will expire at 5:30 p.m.

The warning was for Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties.
"The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms," says the NWS Charleston SC.
The warning is in effect until 5:30 p.m.
