The warning was issued for Calhoun, Clarendon, Orangeburg, Richland and Sumter counties.
"The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 9 p.m. for central South Carolina," states the NWS Columbia SC.
The warning is in effect until 4 p.m.
