Carolinas could see tornadoes, flooding next week due to tropical storm Ian, forecast says
Tropical storm Ian could bring heavy rain and tornadoes to the Carolinas, according to the National Weather Service.
Ian’s track could also cause coastal flooding and strong winds, meteorologists in Wilmington, N.C., predict.
But they said there is still a lot of uncertainty.
The storm is in the Caribbean Sea south of Jamaica and is expected to move near the Florida peninsula on Thursday.
