A Jonesville man faces multiple charges after Union police said he urinated on an officer.

Rick Anderson Bell, 52, of 139 Whitlock Lake Road, was charged with driving under the influence, driving under a suspended license and throwing bodily fluids by a prisoner, according to online records with the Union County jail.

A Union Public Safety incident report states Bell was involved in a two-car crash on Sunday. Bell told the officer he had been drinking, and he became belligerent before refusing to take field sobriety tests, the report states.

After being taken to the Union Public Safety headquarters, Bell told officers he needed to use the restroom, the report states.

He did not cooperate as the officer tried to measure his blood-alcohol content, according to the report.

Bell then began urinating on the officer before he was pushed into a chair, where he continued urinating, the report states.

Bell remained in the Union County jail without bond Monday afternoon.
