An argument over pies prompted a physical altercation between two employees at a Chester restaurant, according to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened at about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday at the McDonald’s on J.A. Cochran Bypass, according to a sheriff’s report. The victim told deputies she and the suspect were “arguing over pies” when the victim told the suspect to go home and that she would cover her shift.
When the suspect refused to leave, the victim asked for police to be called, the report states. After police were called, the suspect threatened to harm the victim if she went to jail.
The suspect’s brother, who is also an employee of the restaurant, tried to get the suspect to leave, deputies said. The suspect then approached the victim and hit her in the face, knocking her glasses off. The two began to fight and were broken up by other restaurant employees.
