Powerball jackpot now up to $450 million

Ticket sales leading up to the now fourth-largest jackpot in Powerball history has increased the jackpot to $450 million, according to lottery officials.

Those still interested in playing the lottery have until 9:59 p.m. Wednesday to purchase a ticket before the 10:59 p.m. drawing. The winner will have a a choice between a cash payout of $275 million or the full jackpot amount paid in 29 payments of $15 million each.

The odds of winning the jackpot are one in 293 million, and the odds of winning any Powerball prize are approximately one in 24.9, according to lottery officials.
