Richland County Sheriff’s Department investigators have charged a Shaw Air Force Base airman for allegedly soliciting a minor by sending explicit photos to the victim, officials said.

Attorney General Alan Wilson said Staff Sgt. Glenn Eric Iski, 27, of Sumter, is facing three charges of sexual exploitation of a minor including one count of criminal solicitation of a minor and two counts of dissemination of obscene material to a minor 12 years or younger.

Iski allegedly contacted a victim online and sent sexually explicit photos and messages to the victim, Wilson said.

Wilson said the investigation was a part of the Internet Crimes Against Children task force, which included the sheriff’s department and was assisted by Air Force Office of Special Investigations.

If Iski is found guilty, he faces a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison, Wilson said.
