Search for woman who was last seen walking out of South Carolina hospital
A search is underway in South Carolina for a woman who went missing after leaving a hospital.
Regina Lyn Pepino was reported missing Sunday by the Sumter Police Department. The 38-year-old Sumter resident has not been seen since Saturday afternoon, police said in a news release.
Pepino was last seen walking from Prisma Health Tuomey hospital, according to the release. Information about why Pepino was at the hospital, and if she has any medical conditions in need of treatment or medication, was not available.
There was no word if Pepino was alone when she was last seen. Police did not say if foul play was involved with her disappearance.
Police described Pepino as a 5-foot, 160-pound woman who was last seen wearing a black Express shirt and black shorts.
Anyone who has seen the missing 38-year-old, or has information about her, is asked to call police at 803-436-2700.
