Watch how this detective gave kids a treat on their way to school today
A Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office detective went undercover as a T-rex today as he directed traffic at Devon Forest Elementary School.
Detective Matt Woodall normally stops at the school located in Goose Creek to direct traffic in the mornings, WCIV News in Charleston reported.
Woodall reportedly did his best to imitate the school’s mascot — a dragon.
A video posted on the school’s Facebook page shows the detective telling drivers when to stop, turn and go all while dressed as a T-rex.
“Having Detective Woodall dress up this morning as he directed traffic at Devon Forest Elementary was the highlight of our morning!” the post states. “The kids and parents loved it.”
