‘It’s going to be okay little buddy:’ Bodycam video shows SC deputy rescuing dog

A heartwarming body-camera video shows a Greenville County Sheriff’s Office deputy helping a dog after its head got stuck in a chain-link fence on Friday.

The department shared the video on its Facebook page later that night.

According to the post, Master Deputy John Boyd made sure the “beautiful pup lived to bark another day.”

The video shows Boyd consoling the dog and saying “it’s going to be okay little buddy.”

It took the deputy several minutes, but he managed to carefully remove the fence from the dog’s neck and free it.
