Multiple female students arrested after large brawl at Anderson high school

Multiple students were arrested Wednesday morning after a big brawl broke out among female students at TL Hanna High School in Anderson, according to FOX Carolina.

About 10 girls were involved in the fight and were rounded up by Anderson County authorities, FOX Carolina reports, citing Kyle Newton with Anderson County School District 5.

School officials are reviewing surveillance footage to learn whether more students were involved in the incident.

FOX Carolina said there was no information yet as what caused the fight to erupt.

Detectives said the situation was under control about 8:55 a.m., and that an active investigation was underway.
