Carson draws hundreds in Florence stop
Hundreds of people gathered to see Dr. Ben Carson in Florence on Friday, the day before the Republican presidential primary in South Carolina.
An overflow crowd of more than 700 people filled the Florence Civic Center to see the Republican Presidential candidate.
Carson spoke on a number of issues, including why he should be President of the United States.
Many traveled from miles away to hear his message.
“I want to be an informed voter. I want to see everything I can, to know as much as I possibly can,” said Amy Rohmiller of North Carolina.
“I’ve been a big fan of Ben Carson for a long time, and it’s just interesting to come and hear what he had to say in person,” said Lisa McDonald of Florence.
