Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum to stop in Myrtle Beach Monday
Republican presidential candidate and former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) will make his way to the Grand Strand on Monday for tours of several companies and chats with area students.
Santorum will tour BauschLinnemann manufacturing in Myrtle Beach and visit with executives and employees at 9 a.m. Monday, followed by a tour of PTR Industries, which manufactures guns, at 11:45 a.m.
At 3:30 p.m. the presidential candidate will speak to students at Coastal Carolina University – hosted by Coastal Carolina Conservatives – in the Lib Jackson Student Union Room A201.
Santorum will wrap up his day by offering the keynote address to Christians United for Israel event at Journey Church and Conference Center, 10607 SC-707, in Myrtle Beach.
All four events are open to the public.
Before hitting the Strand, Santorum will stop in York, Greenwood, Greenville and Anderson during the weekend. The senator will also tailgate at CockaBoose #19 at Williams-Brice stadium before attending the Clemson-South Carolina game Saturday morning.
