Republican presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz will be in the Grand Strand area Sunday for a town hall forum.

Cruz will be leading the forum at 2:15 p.m. Sunday at the Burroughs & Chapin Auditorium at Horry Georgetown Technical College, 2050 U.S. Highway 501 East in Conway.

The event is set to run until 3:45 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Seating is limited so those who wish to attend are asked to come early.

The event is paid for by Ted Cruz for President.

Cruz served as a former solicitor general in Texas and became the Lone Star State’s U.S. Senator in 2012.
