Democrats

West Side Democrats will meet Thursday at the Horry County Democratic Party Headquarters, 900 Fourth Ave. in downtown Conway, 5:30 -7 p.m. For information, contact the HCDP office at 843-488-4237.

Republicans
▪ Republican Presidential candidate Carly Fiorina will be in Myrtle Beach Tuesday to attend a forum at the Crown Reef Conference Center.
Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO, is scheduled to speak between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. The event is free.
▪ The Greater Carolina Forest Republican Women’s Club will meet 11:30 a.m. today at Sam Snead’s Oak Grill Restaurant, 1004 Glenforest Road near Carolina Forest Boulevard and U.S. 501.
The speakers will include candidates running for the Horry County Council District 3 position and Carole vanSickler, President Carolina Forest Civic Association. For more information, call 843-236-7799.
▪ The Myrtle Beach Republican Women will have their Friday Freedom Huddle “Happy Hour” from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at Anchor Cafe, Marina Grande Dunes.
