Incumbents file for three North Myrtle Beach council seats
All the incumbents of the three North Myrtle Beach City Council seats up for election Nov. 3 filed their candidacy Friday, the first day to file.
J.O. Baldwin, who has served on council for 12 years, filed to run for re-election of his Crescent Beach ward seat. Jon Coyne, who has served on council for four years, is seeking re-election to the Cherry Grove ward. Hank Thomas, who has been on council for eight years, is seeking the at-large seat.
Filing for the four-year terms ends at noon Sept. 4.
Residents who want to vote in the upcoming election must be registered by Oct. 3.
