Presidential hopeful New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will hold a meet-and-greet in Myrtle Beach on Tuesday.

Christie will bring his campaign tour to Sea Captain’s House Restaurant to meet with area residents and potential voters.

Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. with the meet-and-greet beginning at 10 a.m.

Christie is one of 15 Republicans hoping to win the presidential nomination, with many focusing on the first-in-the-South primary held in February.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee was in Conway on Sunday and other candidates, including Donald Trump, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry have South Carolina visits scheduled this week.

For more information about the event with Christie, call Tom Dickens at 207-281-3643 or email him at tdickens@chrischristie.com.

Sea Captain’s House is at 3002 N. Ocean Blvd. in Myrtle Beach.
