A 60-year-old man died in a road rage incident in Texas, authorities say, as a search for the other driver is now underway.

The Houston Police Department said the 60-year-old was involved in a “road rage disturbance” with another man on Katy Freeway around 4:30 p.m. May 24.

The victim, identified by police as Dae Lee, left his vehicle and got on top of the other driver’s car, police said in a May 27 news release.

That’s when the other driver sped off, causing Lee to fall off his vehicle, police said.

Lee was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead May 25, according to the news release.

Police said the suspect’s vehicle was found, but the driver was unaccounted for.

Anyone with information about the driver or incident is asked to contact Houston police at 713-308-3600.
