A woman is pleading for the safe return of her dog, who was stolen from her front yard and dragged down a Michigan street, video shows.

Kat Delph shared video July 14 that showed two young men walking on the street in front of her Detroit home. One of them spotted Margie, Delph’s 40-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix, and approached the 8-year-old dog.

He then grabs Margie by the collar and drags her away from her yard, video shows.

“Marge has been snatched!” Delph said in her Facebook post, which has been shared more than 1,300 times as of July 17.

Margie, who Delph refers to as Marge, is described as a “very friendly” dog who needs daily medicine for an eye disorder.

Please bring me my dog back. You know where I live,” Delph said in an interview with WXYZ. “I won’t ask any questions. I don’t want any confrontation. I just want my dog back.”

A reward is being offered for the safe return of Margie, according to a flier.

Delph told WXYZ she does not know why the two men stole her dog.

“It was crushing. I mean, how can you treat a dog that way?” she said.
